Thakoon

Spring-Summer 2014 – Launching his Label in 2004, the Taiwanese-born designer Thakoon Panichgul, has established a brand that is delicately alluring. From fashion writer to designer Panichgul has since created an aesthetic of feminine and intricately crafted collections. This time his designs whisper a less-is-more elegance with fresh lily-white palettes and vanilla tones. Blouses and little wispy dresses are draped in pearls with traces of lace entwined in the deftly embellished garments. Pops of pleated fuchsia and red pleasantly surprised, alongside notes of pale blue, silver, black and navy. Peep-toe, lace booties appearing delicately, skin-like when worn with longer dresses.

Minimal make up was maximised with dewy skin, glossed lips and corner-flicked eyelashes. Corresponding with the accessories, rounded nails were coated with pearly white polish whilst lightly tousled hair is drawn in, curving the necks silhouette by a dainty twine of pearls: the straps to Thakoon’s miniature handbag.
