Spring – Summer 2014
For his second collection introduced at the Sorbonne, Geraldo Da Concelçao gave to the 70s Sonia Rykiel era an urban feel. He wanted to create “a creature of the dusk, a sunset heroine” as said on his notes.
With slinky silhouettes, the designer mixed the natural with the scintillating. Knit tube skirts, metallic lurex shimmering on tank tops and long skirts gave this cheerful note that we were expected. Then came the 20’s look with a feather boa around the neck wich was a nice tribute to Sonia Rykiel herself.
The French house kept this Rive Gauche style that it is known for.
