Giambattista Valli
Spring – Summer 2014 – Ellie Saab in the King of red carpet dresses, as soon as you hear his name you know it’s a show stopper and this season each pieces that walked out be it in salmon pink, green, red white or black it was all breath taking form start to finish. Each piece with his signature exaggerated embellishment and adornment all intricately placed but this time on slouchy tops teamed with fluid tailored trousers. Hemlines were short, midi and long each hanging like second skin to the body.
Starch white fabrics where emblazed with an iridescent floral prints working its way up the body which is going to look beautiful on those blue lined beach fronts. We may have started with an ultra sweet pallet but the mood turns to a sultry sexy one with black lace dresses in strappy, low cut and slash neck numbers which are all show stoppers like every piece in his collection for Spring/ Summer.
