Spring-Summer 2011 – Designed by Tommaso Aquilano and Roberto Rimondi. Pretty and feminine: these are the two words that sum up Ferré s collection. Girly whites – something Gianfranco was renowned for – and soft pinks dominated the collection. Although black biker leather hardened the collection, the feminine veneer was maintained with plunging necklines and ruffles. The collection sculpted the palette beautifully. Slim fit trousers glazed the leg whilst dresses were brought in at the waist before pleating out. The waist length blazer was back again, a prevalent feature at Milan fashion week. A touch of glamour was added to the collection with beautiful glittered dresses. Finally, floating chiffon maxing dresses highlighted the feminine fatale. This was a fabulously feminine collection that embodied the soft and gentle female.
