Prada

Autumn-Winter 2014/15 – If someone asked me to describe Prada’s ready-to-wear line, I would say garish, vibrant, vamp-ish yet romantically preppy.

There is a lot to take in with this line as you are not quite sure where the outfit is heading next. Block colours on colours, mixed with circular patterns, sheer chiffon with tweed and satin.

The garish idea comes from the purple and orange blend, almost from the psychedelic era of the 1970s.

The vibrancy yet vamp ish point of the red and black combined reinforces the romantic, yet deep, dark side and preppy is completed to the mix with the use of tweed.

Nothing is spared from this line; there are no barriers or limits to the extremes of how things should be or what might be considered “too far.” This line is a memorable one due to the creativity of what it represents; comfort and style, both two very different things but bought together for an awe-inspiring image.
