Autumn-Winter 2012/13 – Before the show has even begun, Sarah Burton has the ability to excite. She then mesmerises with her extreme creativity, uniqueness, and pure skill. It was a juxtapose between hard and soft, seen immediately with the blacked-out eyes and the medieval belt contrasted with the vast white fur-ball which comprised of shrugs and socks, and skater skirts gathered in thick swaths in one or two-tiers for an ultimate evangelical veneer. Demure white fur-trim gloves heightened the sense of pureness along with baby pink petalled silk dresses. Doily printed coats and dresses with stiff collars then made way for bobbled black dresses and over-zealous shaggy fur coats of extravagant proportion, which, turned into dresses. The softest chiffon-dresses were works of art, as were blossoming ones in bright orange and fuchsia. The petal emblazoned dresses to extravagant proportions making it the most beautiful flower garden in the land.
