Rick Owens Man Autumn-Winter 2016-17 – No need to mention the designer with seeing this as Rick Owens displays yet another amazing collection at the Paris fashion week.

If there are words to describe this fall/winter collection, it would be extravagant and imaginative. The tremendously innovative designer showcased an artistic collection of which bared the season of the designs on the models by painting their faces white with black around the eye area.

The models where introduced by techno music as they displayed a collection full of fur, long double breasted jackets and leather jackets. The collection also includes Rick’s signature look of wide leg trousers, no sleeves and plenty of leather.

As expected, the designer keeps his signature colours of grey and black, adding brown and white into the equation. The collection also features a wide range of short sleeved and cropped leather jackets.

Owen’s clothing speaks a language of juxtaposition as he makes decisions about materials and forms. As always, he aims to achieve a balance between his artistic creativity and fabrics. ‘It’s really about juxtaposition and contrasts’ says Owen and once again, he proved himself by mixing soft fabrics pants with heavy fur jackets without sleeves presenting the autumn/winter season, yet contradicting it.
