Maison Martin Margiela

Spring-Summer 2015 – This S/S15 collection follows the original approach to Fashion of Maison Martin Margiela. The philosophy of Unfinished and hybridization of the garments constitutes the basis of the design process behind Margiela clothing.

Nude tones give a further strength to the colour palette, which is mainly made of white, black, bronze and spots of indigo blue.

Signature of the maison is the splendid assemblage of several fragments, layers and fabrics, that transform the garments into beautiful collages. Folded sarong-style skirts are based on this specific technique, as well as shirts, jackets and dresses made of mixed fabrics.

The collection follows the trends that are going to identify this season: sheer-knits and transparent fabrics; stylized flowers; flat shoes of uncommon and tangled shapes.
