Loewe
Loewe Woman Autumn-Winter 2017-18 – Fall has never been as sophisticated, with Loewe showcasing some truly handsome designs that gave silhouettes a graceful touch.
Loewe focused on simplicity in such a way that married either a plain style with bold colours, or a busy style with neutral colouring. Such examples were a somewhat simple fitting, long sleeved dress which came alive through the use of patchwork colours in burgundy, navy and lilac, and a teasingly playful dress with an extravagantly puffed, off-the-shoulder sleeve, toned down by the white net-quality finish.
Assorted leather pieces played an important role too. A green leather suit was made more refined by a wide, high stand collar as well as button detailing, with a yellow, peplum style jacket being paired with a rough, almost umbrella pleated skirt to give off a Victorian panache.
With hair styled into a strict middle parting and little to no jewellery, all the focus could be given to the largely two-tone designs, with jackets being contrasted between black, red and yellow and a chiffon dress consisting of pastel blue and white shades. A parade of bags was also on offer, ranging from large day-bags with double handles to a more cross-body, chequered design and smaller sling bags with long, dual-tone straps.
