Lanvin
Lanvin Man Autumn-Winter 2017-18 – The first look featured a scarf with the word ‘NOTHING’ on it. This is exactly what the inspiration was behind this collection. A no fuss and no drama approach. Lucas Ossendrijver used regular everyday wear and focused on the construction and detailing.
Oversized coats caught attention and went with the current street influenced looks. The concentration paid to the designs of the trousers is evident. They were ranging from the straight formal wear to the more relaxed urban looks. The footwear featured went from sneakers to rain and hiking boots made all the difference in some otherwise regular looks.
The strength from elevating ‘basic’ pieces is that people are able to visualise these garments on themselves. In this case, the great styling also helped. The colour palette emphasized on the idea of a ‘low key’ collection with the use of black, grey and brown. Colorful elements were seen on footwear and anoraks.
