Haider Ackermann Man Spring-Summer 2017 – The Haider Ackermann Man Spring-Summer 2017 show was, once again, a collection full of a diverse range of textures, materials and colours. Prints tended to be blurry and faded, almost wispy, adding a sense of softness to the often harshly tailored lines that were also very much part of the collection. Several jackets took centre stage thanks to their slim fit and eye-catching, shiny materials. Sleeves tended to be billowy and flared, creating a statement and once again contrasting with the otherwise slim fitting garments. In terms of trousers, the assemblage appeared to favour the slimly cut and ankle grazing slack, which in turn showed off a variety of footwear, from leopard print brogues to sporty slider sandals. Once again, Haider stuck to what he does best, by implementing his signature jewel tones throughout the catwalk. There was ruby reds, shiny golds, velvety greens and cool silver tone throughout the collection adding a sense of ornateness to the various looks and styles.
