Emilio Pucci Woman Autumn-Winter 2017-18 – Emilio Pucci’s FW17 collection exhibited the ’70s best trends: wide-leg pants, funky prints, and a flair for color. Massimo Giorgetti chose his materials wisely. Sequins and velvet helped to maximize the hyper-florescent color scheme. The label’s signature boho-inspired prints were of course present, helping to propel the retro vibe. Travel was a big theme with some of the models carrying weekend bags or rolling suitcases to accompany the looks. We love the carry-on styles — who says luggage has to be drab? Crystal-embellished PVC jackets provided a fresh bit of styling. As did the fringe-trimmed hats. The length of the fringe may not have been the most practical, but it’s sure to keep the sun out of your face. We did like the swishing adornments on the dresses and shoes, though. They added movement and vibrancy to the collection, perfectly fitting with the brand’s essence.
