Emilio Pucci Woman Autumn-Winter 2016 – The forms at Pucci encouraged the pursuit of activity and exercise while, whilst superimposing scenic prints of snow-capped mountains and gigantic peonies to balance out the imagery. The merging of these contrasting features did not quite result in sports luxe but rather in an urban city woman.

Perhaps it was the knee high slanted leather boots, paired with mesh hemmed middy triangle skirts and ribbed dual toned necklines which did not limit the looks to any one activity or situation. Massimo Giorgetti, showcased an affinity for shapes and patterns, through the sharp cuts, drapes and ruffles of certain garments while neon graphic shapes seeped onto slim zip up tracksuit tops.

There were more rounded shoulders with the aid of oversized bomber jackets, puffy coats and sweatshirts, while performance fabrics such as lycra and neoprene added flexibility to dynamic one pieces and skirts over trousers striped white at the side. Reflective fabrics shone on languid tunics and ruched-sleeved sweatshirts.

The heavy amounts of colour blocking coupled with bold geometric shapes, made the collection buzz with a vibrancy not usually expected of the AW season.
