Diesel Black Gold

Diesel Black Gold Woman Spring Summer 2017 – Blush tones descended upon the Diesel Black Gold show. The powdery neutrals added a girly sweetness to the collection creating a modern look that was simultaneously sweet and powerful.

Short hemlines and cropped tops added a youthful style, whilst trousers were high waisted and slouchy with panels. Pretty pieces peppered the runway. There were mini skirts with structured frills and broderie anglaise dresses. Tulle shoulders and blue floral prints also added a girly touch.

Despite the pretty pinks and pure whites, there seemed to be a utility theme to the pieces. Silhouettes were generally simple and clean cut. Many of the garments were laced with strings that weaved up the body through silver eyelets. Waists were cinched with chunky perforated belts and capped sleeves were pulled tight with bowed drawstrings. Shoes were flat and carried the same laced detailing, sometimes going all the way up the calf. There was not a heel in sight.
