Chloé
Chloé Woman Autumn-Winter 2017-18 – Marking her departing show from Chloé, Clare Waight Keller captured an eclectic style featuring everything from retro prints to softer mini dresses, sustaining a serene hush from beginning to end.
In keeping with the classic Chloé look, a delicately layered dress with a sheer black cascade centre was matched perfectly with a lightly coloured fur coat, oozing quiet sophistication. Relaxed silhouettes were also present in the form of an ultra-feminine pinafore matched with t-bar flats, and printed smock dresses. A sporty update broke up the refined efforts, with a patchwork suede tracksuit adding a slouchy feel.
A seventies mood broke forth towards the end of the collection, shown through the intensely hued blouses and double breasted detailing on a boxy coat, giving a strong shoulder construction which contrasted the dated yellow and brown tones. A deep teal cape cut in a geometric, rectangular shape also gave a premillennial feel.
Makeup was also clean, with a simple sweep of black eyeliner on the top and bottom eyelids complimenting the fresh palette of a simple face.
