Autumn-Winter 2013/14
You can always count on Versace to bring outrageous garments that celebrate the masculinity and femininity that exist within a man and this collection proved no different and brought fun detailing to an eclectic showcase.
Donatella’s vision for next year was a vast one that included safari print, discombobulated checks, slimmed ’90s-esque suiting and of course, fur. It was a power move; a move that followed a system of promoting the prints such as painted suits with wide set ties that were playful, to biker with dark, glossy leather combinations in coats and wide set trousers, to an all white display with pastel colours flittering throughout.
There were enveloping fur coats that shined, rolled sleeved blazers teamed with denim, coat and jacket combinations and beige polo necks, all of which were met by the arrival of lace underwear that was not for the shyest of men, just like this collection, which screamed fun.
