Victoria Beckham’s Makeup Line with Esteé Lauder
It has been announced that Victoria Beckham will be releasing a limited edition makeup line, in conjunction with Esteé Lauder. Known for her sleek and classic style, Victoria Beckham has transitioned from popstar to fashion designer, publishing a book on beauty along the way. Titled That Extra Half an Inch and co-written by Hadley Freeman, the book went into the smaller details of improving on style, from how to wear flats or wedges, bras and skinny jeans, to makeup and hair styles.
Regarding her collaboration with the world-renowned beauty brand, Beckham offered a delighted glimpse into the partnership. “I am thrilled to be launching this limited edition makeup collection with Estée Lauder. The whole process has been both inspiring and eye opening – from going back and revisiting the Estée Lauder archives through to working on the product with the Estée team, this feels like the perfect makeup partnership for me and my brand. I had long admired the Estée Lauder the woman, and the powerful brand that she created, so I am excited to offer both of our customers this makeup range and play a small part in her vision for women.”
Jane Hertzmark Hudis, Esteé Lauder’s group President, seems as excited about the collaboration as Beckham does. “We are excited to join forces and bring Victoria’s take on beauty to her many fans around the world,” she stated last week. “Victoria is an entrepreneur in the true spirit of our founder, Estée Lauder, with a real understanding of what women want, and a commitment to making women look and feel their most beautiful.”
Many are wondering what exactly this collaboration will consist of, whether it be tools to achieve the very natural looks she often gives her models on the runway, or the more dramatic smoky-eyed looks the designer often opts for.
