The Victoria & Albert Museum announced it will expand the “Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty” exhibit with 30 additional pieces, as well as an entirely new section on McQueen’s early shows in the 1990s.

Some of the garments are on loan from private collectors including stylist Katie Grand, while others come from the collection of Isabella Blow, a close friend and muse to McQueen, who died in 2007. Givenchy, where the couturier served as creative director from 1996 to 2001, also supplied a few items.

Another aspect of the show to be expanded for London is the Cabinet of Curiosities, which will include items created by McQueen in collaboration with specialists such as milliner Philip Treacy. Altogether, the show will present around 40 objects never before displayed together.

Set to take place March 14 to July 19, 2015, the exhibition is expected to draw crowds of style enthusiasts. WWD reports that 16,000 tickets have already been sold in advance.
