Rita Ora shoots DKNY campaign

Already the face of Madonna’s Material Girl clothing line, singer Rita Ora has added another feather to her cap, with a new impromptu photo campaign for DKNY shot in the Big Apple Tuesday.

“Thank you bots for coming out!! Today was awesome you always crack me up! Didn’t even feel like work I love you! More then you’ll ever know… #DKNY #NYCNights #TimesSquare,” tweeted the 22-year-old pop star and keen fashionista. 

Standing on top of a classic New York City yellow taxi cab, the singer and the shoot brought Times Square to a standstill wearing a selection of pieces from the brand’s Resort 2014 collection. The DKNY PR girl was also on hand, live-tweeting proceedings. 

Last season’s campaign duties were taken care of by Cara Delevingne, the emerging British supermodel, who has now apparently been usurped by her best friend. Back in June, Ora and Delevingne co-hosted a party for the brand in London with Rita performing a number of her hits.
