Prabal Gurung Spring-Summer 2014 campaign plays to duel effect
Photographed by Daniel Jackson and styled by Tiina Laakkonen, the new Prabal Gurung campaign is a real delight, and fittingly so, as it’s the first time the images will be appearing in print.
Featuring an inverted metallic-looking shot of a burning rose, Kebede shows off the collection with a fierce gaze, shot against an oxblood backdrop. The brand also posted a cool video to its tumblr page featuring the burning flower.
Prabal Gurung’s previous campaigns have featured Candice Swanepoel, Joan Smalls and Julia Saner but they’ve all been online-only up til now. This time the print images will run in arts and fashion magazine Out of Order.
