Pepsi fashion collaborations go on sale

Pepsi has partnered with lifestyle and fashion brands Original Penguin, B&O PLAY, Gents, Goodlife, Del Toro and SHUT for a new capsule collection in collaboration with leading retailers Bloomingdale’s, Colette and Liberty.

The first-ever ‘Live for Now’ Capsule Collection, which celebrates ‘The Art of Soccer,’ is on sale now at Bloomingdale’s in New York City as well as 15 other stores across the United States. Colette in Paris will also stock the whole collection, and London’s Liberty will stock the Original Pengiun clothing.

With all the products riffing on the brand’s famous blue color scheme, the capsule is part of a new strategy by Pepsi’s Chief Marketing Officer Kristin Patrick who has previous experience in the fashion industry with roles at Gap and Calvin Klein (she was one of the brains behind the launch of the CK brand).

Earlier this month Pepsi also unveiled a collaboration with Narciso Rodriguez for the Bottletop collection of bags which combines deforestation-free leather from the Amazon and recycled aluminum pull tabs.

Rival soft-drinks giant Coca-Cola has its own fashion label which shows at Rio Fashion Week in Brazil.

You can check out full collection on the Pepsi Capsule Collection site.
