New Prada short by Wes Anderson to debut in Rome

Set to debut this Wednesday at the Rome Film Festival, “Castello Cavalcanti” is a rip-roaring mini adventure featuring car crashes and an alternate reality.

The eight-minute film stars Italian actress Giada Colagrande and Anderson favorite Jason Schwartzman (the actor has appeared in a number of his films over the years, including “Rushmore” and “The Darjeeling Limited,” as well as the upcoming “The Grand Budapest Hotel”).

The movie is the latest project in the ‘Prada Classics’ series, a selection of art, film and architecture projects sponsored by the brand. Prada and Damien Hirst recently teamed up to create a Bedouin tent-style camp in the Qatari desert featuring a pop-up Prada store and a juice bar inspired by the artist’s famous “Pharmacy” restaurant.

Earlier this year Anderson worked with co-director Roman Coppola on an advert for the Prada Candy L’Eau fragrance which starred French actress Léa Seydoux.

After its Rome debut, you’ll also be able to watch the new film online at Prada.com later on Wednesday.
