New line of Adidas Originals by Jeremy Scott inspired by US, UK themes
Now ten years old, the Adidas Originals by Jeremy Scott line continues to celebrate luxury sportswear and streetwear.
The latest collection mixes bold colors, fabrics and prints, all inspired by diverse transatlantic influences from the National Football League to the pearly Kings and Queens of London’s old East End.
Key Anglophile pieces include pearl button decorated tracksuits and jackets, with added bondage details and Adidas logo all-over prints, with a picture of Scott himself with Union Jack face paint.
Meanwhile the designer celebrates his American heritage with a cropped US Football jersey with two-tone plastic numbers and sporty shorts, hot pants and jogging sweatpants.
Footwear options include a new version of the ‘JS Instinct’ shoe with a rainbow effect on Italian leather, Classic Adidas Rod Laver models in gold and lace, the ‘Tall Boy’ high boot, wedge styles, and the ‘Bones’ model in multi-colored leather.
The former enfant terrible of the Los Angeles fashion scene, Scott is currently enjoying his new role as creative director at Italian luxury label Moschino.
