Naomi Campbell portrait to raise funds for Typhoon Haiyan victims

The enormous Asian typhoon has displaced more than 800,000 people, according to the United Nations, and killed around 10,000.

So to help raise money, fashion photographer John-Paul Pietrus had Campbell sit for a special portrait which will sell for £20 each (approx $30), with proceeds going to the British Red Cross.

“I am half-Filipino, and still have a lot of family in the Philippines,” Pietrus told Vogue UK. “Fortunately most of my family has been spared any misfortune, however, my aunt’s hometown was completely destroyed and flattened to the ground, and she has lost a lot of things dear to her, including friends.”

So for the price of a dinner you can get hold of a limited edition piece of art, and help people affected by the natural disaster. You have until midnight on November 14 to buy a print.

Prints are available from the photographer’s website – http://www.johnpaulpietrus.com/
