Is David Beckham launching a clothing line?

Beckham is one of the most bankable global names in the men’s fashion and sports scenes. Now, according to rumors picked up by WWD, the 38-year-old is eyeing up a deal for his own casual sportswear fashion line. 

The former professional footballer, who spent his playing days with global giants Manchester United and Real Madrid before switching to MLS team LA Galaxy and then finishing his career at Paris Saint Germain, has plenty of the required experience. 

First, he’s married to Spice Girl Victoria Beckham, who has found her own success in the fashion world with her namesake fashion label and popular second line Victoria Victoria Beckham. He’s also been a fixure in the world of fashion and luxury advertising for over a decade, starring in major campaigns for Emporio Armani, Belstaff and Breitling among others. He also recently worked with Swedish brand H&M on the David Beckham bodywear and underwear line.
