Zoe Hitchen – Patternity
Starring dancers Carly Blackburn & Miranda Mac Letten and choreographed by Alicia Pattyson, this three-minute film plays around with visual effects and strong monochromatic patterns for an eyecatching spectacle.
The film was produced for the award-winning Patternity collective (founded by photographer/art director Anna Murray and surface/textiles designer Grace Winteringham), and Hitchen (who has previously worked with Nick Knight’s SHOWstudio fashion as well as Tom Ford and i-D) explores the group’s ideas that “a shared awareness of pattern can positively shape our world.”
Hunger – Crystal Renn
American model Crystal Renn frolicks on the beach with an assortment of inflatable animals including a killer whale and an elephant. What’s not to like?
The film, titled “Crystal Amaze,” was shot by Rankin on LA’s Zuma Beach, and is set to an intense punk soundtrack.
