Donna Karan to open Aspen pop-up
Opening Monday, and in place until mid-April next year, Donna Karan’s new store will be perfect for fashionista ski fanatics with the 2,500-square-foot space located on East Dean Street in the upmarket Colorado ski town.
“I’ve spent endless holidays there with my family and have so many friends who live there,” Karan told WWD. “My new Urban Zen store is my way of dressing and addressing a community that’s given me so much love and enjoyment.”
The store will stock men and women’s clothing as well as leather goods, jewelry, art and home decor options. In honor of the wintery location there’s also a special ‘Silver Snow’ collection (with white, gray and silver pieces) including warm cashmere, suede and shearling fabrics, all priced from $995 up to $5,995.
The brand is joining a recent trend, with Parisian couture house Chanel opening a pop-up boutique last weekend in the French resort town of Courchevel stocking its latest Cruise collection.
