Andrea Pompilio designing line for Canali

First founded in 1934, Canali is one of the biggest names in Italian menswear and Andrea Pompilio has been named as the brand’s new Creative Consultant.

Pompilio’s capsule collection for the brand is set to debut on June 23 during the upcoming Milan menswear fashion week.

Having previously worked at luxury houses including Prada, Calvin Klein, Yves Saint Laurent and Bally, Andrea Pompilio launched his first collection at Pitti Uomo in 2011, and was a recent finalist in the Who Is On Next? design contest.

In June last year the 40-year-old Pesaro-born creative was hand-picked by Giorgio Armani as the first designer to show for free in his Teatro Armani venue (an ongoing project designed to support emerging talent). He has also previously collaborated with sneaker company Onitsuka Tiger.
