Stripe

Stripe fabric is made up of different bands of different colours. These can be thick or thin and can be a uniform thickness throughout or vary in thickness down the fabric. The stripes can run horizontally or vertically throughout the fabric, depending on which yarns are different colours, either the warp or the weft. Stripe fabric is available in many different colours, and can either use just two alternating colours or many different colours. Types of stripe fabrics include unbalanced stripes, pinstripe and pencil stripe.
