Sao Paulo fashion week: highlights from day two
Alexandre Herchcovitch
One of the darlings of the Brazilian fashion scene, Herchovitch’s show stuck to a slick Prada-esque formula of 1950s shapes, bright red lips and retro eyewear. Oversized bows added a twist.
Pat Pat’s
Iridescent finishes, Memphis prints, and sportswear touches were the order of the day at Pat Pat’s. There were also some fun jewel-embellished lace looks.
Patricia Motta
Motta’s collection featured watercolor florals, long column gowns, and colorful leather skirts with asmymetrical side slits. There was also plenty of summery lace, as well as black and white gradient effect finishes.
Triton
The guys wore colorful loose suiting and digital prints with metallic sandals and caramel lace-ups. The girls arrived in sandy cottons with sumptuous pink floral embroidery, rococo prints and sheer blue silks, with Adriana Lima on site to close the show.
Giuliana Romanno
Romanno’s collection opened with superlight white and beige laser-cut and lace pieces, which arrived with minimalist metallic accessories. More color came in the form of deep bronzes and shining gunmetals, as well as bright orange and peach tones.
