London Collections: Men: highlights from the last day
Pringle of Scotland
Tasseled creepers, micro-check suiting, and slick summer knits were the standout features for Spring-Summer 2015 at Pringle of Scotland. Creative director Massimo Nicosia also reproduced William Morris’s green Pimpernel botanical design for a sharp floral flourish at the end.
Opening Ceremony
Carol Lim and Humberto Leon concocted a wicked brew of layered prints and minimalist cuts. The presentation was held in the brand’s London store with a pair of violinist buskers providing the soundtrack to the bright and sporty collection.
Craig Green
The antidote to anyone gagging from a logo and print overdose, Craig Green’s show was bold in its Zen, warrior priest stylings. The young designer stuck to solid black, blue and white tones, his pieces featuring fluttering string-ties. Some models also sported elaborate wooden and fabric frames on their backs.
