Fashion’s Night Out coming to Milan Fashion Week
Launched in 2009 as the brainchild of US Vogue Magazine editor Anna Wintour and the CFDA, Fashion’s Night Out started as an innovative new way for fashion brands to engage with customers at what was the height of the global recession. With different luxury stores hosting an evening of late night shopping, interactive performances and special give-aways, Fashion’s Night Out was a riproaring success and was replicated in around 30 countries around the world.
The event has gone on hiatus for 2013 in the USA but will reappear in Milan this fall, reports WWD, taking place the day before the city’s catwalks begin to bristle with models dressed in the latest Spring 2014 collections.
In March this year Vogue UK announced that this year’s event, scheduled for October 10, would be held in the northern city of Manchester, a move away from FNO’s home in London.
