Chloé creates new capsule collection for Studio Voltaire

Chloé is sponsoring Studio Voltaire’s ‘House of Voltaire’ charity pop-up store this year. It’s the third time the space has popped-up, and the first time it’s supported by a major luxury partner, with money raised from sales going towards the arts charity’s diverse projects.

The store will be selling unique artworks, homewares, limited edition prints, and a range of clothes and accessories, all created by leading contemporary artists and designers. Chloé creative director Clare Waight Keller worked with three female artists — Cao Fei, Karen Kilimnik, and Jenny Saville — on her pieces.

“Studio Voltaire is a fantastic organization in its support and nurturing of emerging artists and I have been waiting for the right moment to get involved in a meaningful way,” explained the designer. “Choosing female artists from around the world to participate connects the concept with the Maison as Chloé has always had a very close and emotional connection with women.”

The limited edition Chloé items will be on sale in the store, and will also arrive exclusively online at Net-A-Porter. Other products available at the pop-up space include collaborations between Christopher Shannon & Leslie Winer, Simone Rocha & Kim Gordon, and Roksanda Ilincic & Eva Rothschild. In addition there are also blankets by Helen Marten, Matt Connors, Enrico David and Pae White, while Turner Prize-winner Jeremy Deller has made baseball caps, and famed graphic designer Peter Saville has contributed tea towels.

Prices for the different pieces range from £1 to £30,000 (approx $1.50 to $47,000). The House of Voltaire is open November 12 to December 20 at 39-40 Albemarle Street, London W1S.
