Vivienne Westwood
Spring-Summer 2015 – The S/S15 by Vivienne Westwood is a modern and anarchic translation of the History of Fashion, showing that the mix of Past and Present is one the main trend of the next season.
Super wide skirts, slim waist and extra detailed constructions techniques are taken from historical references and then softly re-draped in order to create playful clothes. The collection is a delightful mix of brocades, neoclassic-inspired prints and graffiti looking bags, set together with a rough Make Up. Tiny bonnets and wicker baskets give a more surreal meaning to this eighteenth-century inspired collection, which is a subversive tribute to British Fashion.
Just to remind us not to take Fashion too seriously, a model can be turned into a sculpture wearing a fig-leaf underwear.
