Giles
Spring-Summer 2015 – The Giles collection comprised of a number of motifs and variations. These motifs were: pink, blue and white stripes; oversized jumper dresses; differing textures; animal print; feather print; and floral cut-outs and additions. The designs varied from smart-casual to evening wear. A range of colours was used in the collection, from pale pink and cream to metallic olive green and black. The collection was ultra-feminine, emphasising the female silhouette, whether it be by cinching in the waist, revealing legs, or the presence of a plunging neckline.
Hair was worn in a relaxed low ponytail, parted at the centre, and an emphasis was put on the eyes in terms of makeup, through smoky eye makeup. Masculine brogue-like shoes in a variety of colours offset the high level of femininity amongst the collection. The designs were accessorised with oversized, reflective sunglasses.
