N21 Man Autumn-Winter 2017-18 – Sense of freedom, individualism, and self-determination was seen in N°21 fall/winter 2017 menswear show. This season Dell’Acqua’s focus was on masculine and sturdy looks. Jackets with strong military details, hoods, cropped jackets and long mohair cardigans with military prints were showcased. Checker print fabric used to for elegant looking shirts. Intricate floral embroidery on the short padded jacket was noticed. The collection was build with leather, crushed fabrics, wool along with nylon and then completely painted in dark blue, red, green, grey and black. Layering of components was a slight disappointment. There was a reverse reaction towards accessories as compared to previous collections. Simple studded lace-ups with lug soles were worn to complete the look. The show was choreographed on the remix tone of “Walk on the wild slide” a song from 1962. This is the perfect evidence of “OLD IS GOLD” with a slight modern touch to it.
