Grinko
Autumn-Winter 2014/15 – I believe that this elegantly simple line was developed from the inspiration of the Amish.
The masculinity of the hats and oversized, tailored suits have been transformed into a line for females.
Hats come under the category of accessories, added to an outfit it completes it; however this collection features a wide brimmed hat in almost every outfit.
It sets off the outfit by beginning the foundations of it or by making it part of the outfit by incorporating it as an all-in-one. This line beautifully joins the line between religion and boundaries by putting them together on a par. Masculinity and femininity, colours and styles have all been challenged in this range and results in a powerful range.
The simplistic and introvert range remains cool with colours and patterns, so as not to overshadow the drastic cuts; however the block cutting of crop tops create something more original in order to keep up with the contrasting theme.
