Dsquared2 Woman Spring Summer 2017 – Dsquared2’s SS17 collection was everything we hoped it would be with glamour, vibrancy and eccentricity at its very heart.

The new collection was a very regal affair. Large shoulders that gathered at the upper arm were reminiscent of Tudor gowns. They were adorned with large bows in assorted colours and paired with military button detailing across the chest and cuffs. Majestic gold and red details could be seen on most looks with embroidery depicting the royal crown.

These classic details were paired with modern fabrics; tiger print, ripped blue denim and sheer embroidered mesh. . For added opulence there were crystal encrusted jeans and jackets, studded belts and metallic trousers.

Skirts were mini and jewellery was extravagant. Velvet bows, lip charms and golden crosses dangled from heavy statement earrings. Chunky bangles and charmed gold chain belts were all used to accessorise. Satin stiletto ankle boots were laced up with crimson velvet ribbon and oversized charms dangled from heels.

It was a feast for the eyes, an explosion of colour, texture and print, making it a refreshing change from the classic looks seen elsewhere in Milan.
