Fashion films of the week: Lanvin, Burberry, Alexander McQueen

Lanvin

“I think it is one of the most exceptional things I’ve ever tried,” says the voiceover. Directed by Gordon von Steiner, Lanvin’s models Alexander Faye, Irene Hiemstra, Jeremy Matos, Julia Nobis, Laurie Harding, and Sasha Luss show off the brand’s Spring-Summer 2014 collections enmeshed in “a discussion in a room that lacks time, place, context and meaning.”

Burberry

This rock and roll film for Burberry’s new Burberry Brit Rhythm fragrance stars British model Suki Waterhouse. Mixing pre-concert excitement, beautiful black and white fragrance delivery shots, and the screams of an expectant crowd, we think it’s a delight.

Alexander McQueen

Inspired by 1960 classic movie “Peeping Tom,” this Steven Klein-shot film for Alexander McQueen is set in a dark and brooding East London dystopia and features the ever-stunning Kate Moss with bright dyed yellow hair. The covert camera follows the mysterious model home, and the tense mood and suspense are only heightened when she starts to undress.
