Spring – Summer 2014
Balmain brought back the 80’s. Olivier Rousteing took some inspiration but added some modernity and a French twist that reminds us of the emblematic Chanel. His fun and chic personality shone through the collection. There were oversized houndstooth bombers with gold buttons, chain belts andquilted denim jackets, pieces we wish we had in our wardrobe.
Karlie Klass, Rosie Hutington, Georgia May Jagger, Magdalena Krackowiak and Joan Smalls were among the models parading on the runway, a topmodels casting ! Let’s say that Balmain SS 2014 was an event to attend today in Paris.
