Peter Pilotto

Peter Pilotto Woman Autumn-Winter 2016 – The clash of textures on display at the Peter Pilotto show hinted that this would be an interesting collection.

A high waisted knitted skirt was paired with a satin shirt to create an unusual but very wearable mix. The tactile display endured with a crushed velvet coat and even a skirt featuring both wool and silk. Intrigue was evident in the display of coats with hidden fastenings and a leaf print motif that featured on several designs.

The patterned motif on some maxi dresses looked familiar and yet refreshingly new in what is a testament to the brand’s creativity. Peplum tops are still firmly on the agenda in a much softer, elegant feel in this collection. Dropped shoulders on a silky blue dress and an incredible blue jumpsuit featuring plants were standout pieces from the collection. Light brown boots with a dark brown strappy overlay looked amazing.

Olivia Palermo and Filipino blogger Billy Boy were in attendance at the show.
