Spring-Summer 2011 – Some would say the collection had succumbed to the Gaga effect. The futuristic lines and curves in a synthetic and metallic shine and enamel-like colour screamed futurism; notwithstanding the saucer-like hats which paid homage to sci-fi.  Metallic, midnight blue, and red crimson opened the show before softer blues, reds, greens and silky whites shimmered before the audience. Straight leg trousers were teemed with metallic bodices cut and curved to reveal the waist at the front. Skirts took the pencil form but unfolded around the hip with depressions sewn as pockets, along with high-tech synthetic fabrics, the skirts embodied the futuristic feel. The wet-look stripes banded across bodices encompassed an extraterrestrial feel. This theme ran throughout due to the iridescent fabrics and metallic threads woven into the fabric.
