Autumn-Winter 2012/13 – This collection was just the right side of gaudy and seemingly revisited the outlandish style of the label’s heyday in the eighties. Its message was excess and everything was refreshingly over the top. With shiny thick pinstripe business suits, studded and chainmail jackets and trousers, thick knits lined with fur, bright neons and heavy shoulder pads it flirted with satire, making a tongue in cheek statement about recent attitudes to a more demure fashion. It gave party animal euro-trash connotations, making us feel comfortable with splashing out, flashing the cash and sticking two fingers up to the financial constraints of late.
