Berluti
Berluti Man Autumn-Winter 2016-17 – Berluti presented his collection at Musee des Arts Decoratifs in Paris as he exhibited an attention-grabbing catwalk which was made of copper and black sand. The catwalk was deep and thoughtful.
Keeping the DNA and heritage of this classic French brand, the tattoo inspired collection captured the sentiments of many young and new fans as some of the models featured tattoos on their faces.
Winter will be colourful with Berluti as he showcased a variety of colourful two piece suits, leather jackets, oversized chunky cardigans and scarfs tied around the waist. The collection was heavily accessorised with chains around the neck and you couldn’t talk about this without mentioning the remarkable detailed shoes on the models feet.
Berluti displayed some of the best colour blocking combinations with the mauves, rich earthy oranges and browns making a colourful collection and this worked extremely well. Layering was also a key as colours and prints were mixed together.
This was unquestionably a great show as models strutted in techno music, not only was the catwalk notable, but the designs were contemporary, colourful and conspicuous which made the show exciting. Bertuli did an remarkable job with the reinvention of the brand.
