Autumn-Winter 2012/13 – A variety of blues, with a dabble of green, a touch of black and a splash of orange and mustard created a collection based on modern shapes, regal patterns and a loose, slouch flair. A mix of plain trousers with printed tops, or basic trench coats with patterned trousers combined the primary with the panache by way of fluid silks with sharp tailoring or flowing skirts with impeccably-cut jackets. At times, prints mixed with blouses blending into skirts, other times, sharp tailoring was made to suit offering trench coats with tapered trousers. Short, shaggy coats were in juxtaposition with heavy, serious military-esque stylings and billowy silk tunics contrasted with simple, straight-leg trousers. Snippets of fur donned shoulders and sleeves, otherwise silk was the star of the show, especially pertinent with elegantly long turquoise dresses – Noten delivered a smart, consistent, yet sophisticated collection.
