Spring-Summer 2012 – The beauty pageant had begun. A cast of models strutted down the catwalk with a number in hand, whilst the speaker explained the girl’s hobbies. Each model had a unique look. First up came the pin stripe suit or JPG’s take on it, as bloomers replaced trousers and shirts were asymmetric with buttons sweeping across the shoulder, showing any given amount of skin. Loose billowing clothes were up next: tops draped over harem pants and dresses cascaded to the floor. Such billowing was instantly sculpted around the waist with JPG’s signatory corsetry and corset belts. It was a strange collection with no real theme to the clothes. Tops cutaway at the hips which led into trousers and there was a jumble of jewelry from chained nose rings to African inspired beading. A collaboration of styles perhaps gave a style for everyone.
