Paco Rabanne Women Spring Summer 2016 –

Julien Dossena strayed away from the utility theme that was so prevalent in his AW15 show for SS16. His Paco Rabanne collection was one of sports luxe and feminine shapes, with balconette style tops to his mini dresses, and lashings of gold sequins and fringing.

Stand out pieces include the black and cream trousers distressed with fringing down the outer sides, midnight blue trousers with zips, and Wimbledon white tennis dress. The collection is slightly futuristic, but very relaxed and wearable, with a subtle colour palette. His pointed white shoes with double straps were fantastically Space Age, and the intricate detailing on the garments, like the distressed rags and sequins adorning a tie dyed dress, were beautifully polished.
