Brigitte Bardot’s clothes (when dressed) in this film goes long ways to inspiring 1960s vintage looks today. Kylie Minogue directly referenced the style in the cover of her 2003 album, Body Language. Her striped top and straights skirts became iconic.

The Sixties style shift dresses with straight necks and thick head scarves were the epitome of fashionable dress at this time. The thick kohl lining her eyes was seen on fashion models like Twiggy and Jean Shrimpton. The swinging sixties were becoming a way of life as well as a style of dress.
