Noone does avant- garde better than Vivienne Westwood ; Westwood’s unique approach to designing fashion is reminiscent of a trip to the circus. Prepare to be thrilled  , shocked and entertained by the latest fashion circus to hit Milan. From the first model that walks jauntily down the catwalk in a black netted sports luxe crop t-shirt and small printed speedos, to models swathed in sack-like material that resembles a Roman toga, it is clear that Westwood uses the element of shock to reel in her audience. Each look is carefully styled reflecting a separate component of the brand’s identity and is influenced by key historical events. The two predominant historical themes running through the collection is prehistoric and Roman. Prints draw inspiration from the tyranny and the barbarity of the prehistoric era whereas the quality and styling of the material is a hybrid mix of caveman and the Roman aura.
