Neil Barret Men Spring-Summer 2016 – 

Inspired by the muted tones of war and chaos , camouflage pervades Neil Barret’s latest collection. From the camouflage printed catwalk to charcoal camouflage  grey accents , each look symbolizes the model and designer’s fight for survival or independence in the modelling industry . The standout piece from Barret’s range is a muted grey camouflage boiler suit which not only accentuates the vitality and the strength of the catwalk but is a transitional piece that can be worn  all year long . The functional appeal of the collection is not unique but does offer a different side to Barret that we have not encountered previously. The collection features an eclectic mix of prints including blue leopard print crew tees, faded white leaves adorned on denim tapered peg leg trousers  and the standout camouflage print. Overall the collection does not rebel against the fashion norm but depicts each man’s struggle for significance in a capitalist society.
